Jade Burkinshaw
Jade has been in the industry for 22 years. Jade started working as an apprentice for a small Newcastle concrete construction company. His tasks included being involved in formwork, fixing reinforcement and pouring concrete. With Jades abilities being shown he soon was involved in supervisory roles.
After his apprenticeship was completed Jade gained experience in the Newcastle area with other company’s. Jade had leading hand roles for Civilbuild and Michillis where he was building bridges and mine sites in the Hunter region. Jade then commenced work with a major formwork company Oakdale. This position had Jade working all over NSW as a supervisor in control of 20+ men. Jade also gained invaluable skills in work and leadership working for major contractors John Holland, S & N Civil in QLD and WA for major clients Xstrata Coal and Quantum.
Jade has a variety of invaluable skills which include skills in leadership, productiveness and safety. Jade is a pivotal team member of the SMS team and has been with the company since its first week of business 12 years ago.
Jade also is a very family orientated man with two young daughters and a son.
